If being a religious person means that I have to go to temple or do the merits many times, or pray every nights. I can say that I’m not that religious. But my mind is peaceful every time I look at these two statues.
The first one is located in Nakornpathom, Thailand. This high Buddha statue is in a Buddhist park called Phutthamonthon. The statue is considered to be the highest standing Buddha in the world in 15.87 meter (around 52.1 feet) height.
Another one is in Kamakura, Japan. The bronze statue of Amida Buddha which is called the great Buddha or Daibutsu. The statue has a height of 13.35 meter (around 43.8 feet).
