Inside Llewyn Davis

OK, I’m fond of watching movie trailers. Sometimes, I just go to youtube or iTunes Movie trailer websites to see them continuously or repeatedly. The latest film trailer that I keep playing over and over is the film from the Coen Brothers, Inside Llewyn Davis. The reason that I watch it again and again is its song sung by Marcus Mumford, the lead vocalist from Mumford & Sons – my favourite band.

The song is a cover version of a traditional folk favourite “Fare Thee Well (Dink’s Song)” which is co-sung by Oscar Isaac, the film’s lead actor.

While listening to the song, my mind has been blown away to another land far-far away…

  1. I know what you mean. I have songs like that too, that take me away to distant lands. Some have distinct memories attached to them and they help me time travel. Enjoy the song! :)
