I used Hipstamatic app to take that photo while I was walking around Suvarnabhumi airport (Bangkok), waiting for my brother’s arrival. I photographed dozens of pictures during that time because I just wanted to try the new lens and films I bought in-app. Moreover, I was trying to find the right photo for Sue’s a word a week challenge:worker which I chose another one as the entry for that challenge. However, it was quite difficult decision because I also wanted to choose others which one of them was this 726 photo.

I liked the moment of this one when he walked towards the light with his tool for work. The shadows were reflected on the floor. So I chose it as an entry for this 3rd Monday’s Phoneography Challenge, the Phone as Your Lens: Black and White. I also resized it and wrote blog credit in Typesetter.

  2. I almost did a airport post for B&W, but changed my mind last minute LOL.
The people in the shadows are interesting to be too… maybe because they are in the shadow, compared to the worker whom I can see clearly :P
