That red air craft was taken by me while I was standing at the top of Taroona Shot Tower in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. What is a shot tower? Of course, I didn’t know so I needed to ask a friend called ‘Wikipedia‘.
A shot tower is a tower designed for the production of shot balls by freefall of molten lead, which is then caught in a water basin. The shot is used for projectiles in firearms.
This historic building was constructed in 1870. It is a 48 metres (157 feet) tall which consists of 259 steps (source). After climbing up, I could see beautiful wide view around the tower because of its height.
And I got this sticker to be approval for my attempt of going up those steps.
