The last song of this challenge is a song that I can listen all day. It is very hard for me to think of only just one song as it depends of what moment I’m currently in. Anyway, I think I select this song ‘Photography’ by Ed Sheeran for an answer to the request because I really love the lyrics and music. And I believe that those who love Photography might be able to relate to the song lyrics because of their beautiful meaning.
We keep this love in this photograph
We made these memories for ourselves
Where our eyes are never closing
hearts are never broken
And time’s forever frozen still
I had a favourite song that I couldn’t stop myself from dancing with my friend whenever I heard it during my time in university. This song was one of popular Thai songs at that time. Its genre was electronic. The song name was ‘Lom Hai Jai’ which meant ‘Breath’ in English. However, it also had name in English which was ‘You’re my everything’. The artist was Z-Myx or his real name was Somkiat Ariyachaipanich.
The music genre that I can’t stand is Metal. Another one is Rap. However, I can listen to a few rap/hip hop songs which I can’t explain what the reason for me to be able to listen to it. Still, there is a song that I have to exclude from the original soundtrack ‘The Fault in Our Stars’ after buying the album from iTunes Store. It is Bomfalleralla by Afasi & Filthy. I tried to listen to it together with other songs in the album. Nevertheless, sorry to say that I just couldn’t stand it.
I think that a song for day 21 will be the most difficult for me to make decision. How can I choose a favourite song from thousands songs that I’ve listened to so far. So I decided to choose a new song that I’ve been repeatedly listening to during the past weeks. This song is in a new album named ‘Tough Love’ by Jessie Ware. The album will be released on 13 October 2014. The song’s name is ‘Say You Love Me’. I love the lyrics that I think they suit my life right now.
‘Cause I don’t wanna fall in love
If you don’t wanna try,
But all that I’ve been thinking of
Is maybe that you might
And, baby, it looks as though we’re running out of words to say
And love’s floating away
“Your Bones” from the Iceland band “of Monsters and Men” was the last song alphabetically in iPod app on my iPhone. To be honest, the real last song was one from a Korean singer because iPod app arranged the order of songs from A to Z, then songs starting with numbers, and the special characters including other languages besides English. However, the above list used the word ‘Alphabetically’ so “Your Bones” should be appropriate.
The 1st song in my iPhone is the A team by Ed Sheeran.
I used to listen to this song repeatedly during my times away from home. I love its lyrics, melody, and tunes.
How I wish, how I wish you were here.
We’re just two lost souls
Swimming in a fish bowl,
Year after year,
Running over the same old ground.
What have we found
The same old fears.
Wish you were here.
Yes, I’d rather dance with you.
I once cried out loud in a concert almost 15 years ago. It was the concert performed by my most favourite Thai band; Moderndog. They covered a song by Depeche Mode which I had never heard of it before that time. Its name was Somebody. I was impacted by its lyrics immensely. So much that I couldn’t keep the sound of my sob low.
I want somebody who cares
For me passionately
With every thought and
With every breath
Someone who’ll help me see things
In a different light
All the things I detest
I will almost like
I don’t want to be tied
To anyone’s strings
I’m carefully trying to steer clear of
But when I’m asleep
I want somebody
Who will put their arms around me
And kiss me tenderly
Though things like this
Make me sick
In a case like this
I’ll get away with it
For Day 15’s song, I think of my guilty pleasure for this song; My heart will go on by Celine Dion. Back to those glorious days of Titanic Mania, Yessss! I loved singing along with it and I couldn’t stop myself doing that when I listened to this theme song. Also, I tried so hard to stretch my voice in the part of “go onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn”.
