A lively group discussion, an intimate tête-à-tête, an inner monologue — in your view, when it comes to a good conversation, what’s the ideal number of people?
I don’t mind many people in a group conversation. However, I think two people will effectively get to understand each other if they are willing to open up themselves. More than two people sometimes make someone nervous so they might not speak their mind. Somebody may be more comfortable to open their heart when there are only two person in discussion. No one will come between a couple when they hold their eyes and hearts for each other. In conclusion, my ideal number of people is two.
Picture you upon my knee
Just tea for two
And two for tea
Just me for you
And you for me alone
